Glaze were commissioned to execute the fenestration package on this prestigious project in South East London with its own private boating lake, just a stone's throw away from the River Thames.
Beaufort House is a luxurious and unique property designed with meticulous attention to detail by its Designer and owner. The property aimed to create a legacy for future generations, resulting in a stunning, stylish, and elegant new build.
The property presents dual-aspect bedrooms with parquet floors throughout, a large light-filled living room, an exquisite marbled kitchen, a chef’s kitchen/utility, and a lift.
The glazing uses MC curtain wall with Alitherm 300 opening windows to 3 elevations to capture the beautiful surroundings of the lake with its wildlife.
There is a corridor joining the main house through a glazed walkway to the pavilion sitting beautifully on the lake using Alitherm 300 and Visofold 1000 for the large double doors allowing access to the external deck.
Windows to the rear are Alitherm 300 and Visofold 1000 doors to the utility and hall all accessing the gardens. For the flat rooflights, 5 in total, we use the Aliver system which sits elegantly allowing light into the garage and utility areas.
To finish the project we use a Curtain Walling sloped glazed rooflight to continue the lines of the main house, allowing masses of light into the dining room.
Internally Heritage 47 doors were used to screen the main house to the pavilion and the wine cellar. The colour is finished externally and internally in Anthracite Grey.
This building is an opulent oasis of calm only 20 minutes from City Airport, with beautifully landscaped grounds, a private boating lake, and a private pavilion.
